Selected from a diverse group of faculty and staff with a wide range of clinical interests, PHT Clinical Fellows bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and innovative insight. They commit to participating monthly throughout the 2-year program, with the option to engage more deeply when their time is supported by their department, division, or industry partners. Clinical Fellows are connected with valuable resources, training, and hands-on experience, cultivating a collaborative community dedicated to advancing impactful healthcare solutions.

During the program, Fellows:

  • Develop the skills needed to provide critical clinical insights that guide the creation of novel healthcare technologies.
  • Gain experience assessing the potential impact and feasibility of emerging medical innovations.
  • Build connections with clinical leaders, engineers, regulatory experts, and key decision-makers across Penn Medicine and CHOP.
  • Complete an individualized development (“capstone”) project to advance health technology innovation at Penn, CHOP, or with industry partners.
