India Watson, MSEd

India Watson is the Associate Director of Education and Operations at Penn Health-Tech, where she leads the center’s educational initiatives, including the Student Fellows Program and Health Tech Huddles. She designs and manages entrepreneurship-focused programs that prepare the next generation of health technology innovators. In addition to leading educational programming, India develops and leads strategic events and engagement initiatives that strengthen connections across the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and the broader regional innovation ecosystem. She also manages the center’s communications and provides operational leadership to support Penn Health-Tech’s mission of advancing health technology innovation and commercialization.

Before joining Penn Health-Tech, India worked with Philadelphia-based nonprofits focused on entrepreneurship education, helping aspiring innovators develop the knowledge and skills to turn their ideas into impactful ventures.

India holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior with a minor in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Education in Education Entrepreneurship from Penn’s Graduate School of Education. Passionate about leveraging entrepreneurship to address real-world challenges, she is dedicated to building programs, partnerships, and opportunities that support the next generation of innovators at Penn and beyond.
