Philadelphia, February 11, 2022— Penn Health-Tech, the medical device and health technology center for the University of Pennsylvania, is pleased to introduce Courtney Houtsma, MS, the latest addition to our team!
Courtney will be joining the Penn Health-Tech team as a Project Manager. With over 6 years in the medical device industry, Courtney has experience in leading projects from concept development to the commercialization of orthopedic implant and instrument systems. In her previous roles, she actively managed timelines and aligned key stakeholders positioned both internally and externally.
She graduated from Drexel University in 2015 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a concentration in Biomechanics and Human Performance. After graduating, she became a founding member and board chair of the Drexel Biomed Alumni Network. In 2021, Courtney graduated from Drexel University again with an M.S. in Engineering Management. Courtney takes a results-oriented and accountability-focused approach to her work. She is excited to join the team and Penn Health-Tech’s mission.
