Courtney M. Houtsma, MS, PMP

Courtney M. Houtsma, MS, PMP, is the Director of Development at the Center for Health, Devices & Technology (Penn Health-Tech) at the University of Pennsylvania. She leads the strategic growth and execution of the Health Tech Accelerator program, supporting interdisciplinary teams with funding, advising, and project management to advance innovative health technologies. With over a decade of experience in the medical device industry, Courtney has led and managed projects from early concept through commercialization, managing timelines and aligning stakeholders across technical, clinical, and business domains.

She earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Drexel University, holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and is currently pursuing a Master of Health Care Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania.
