Problem
Blood clots form in the veins of patients with various clinical conditions and can form pulmonary embolism that cause death or increase hospital stays, thereby increasing costs.
Solution
A wearable device capable of restoring “active” flow patterns in immobilized subjects to both genetically and physically prevent clot formation.
