MINT: A Multipoint Injection Technology for Intraparenchymal Gene Transfer
Project Information
Problem
Efficient transduction of the entire putamen with AAV through a single procedure has been challenging. Doses of AAV required to achieve full putaminal transduction are much higher than initially thought.
Solution
The MINT systems are compatible with magnetic resonance imaging and standard surgical procedures. By increasing the number of injection sites, MINT reduces the duration of the injection procedure while improving the delivery and gene transfer efficiency.
