The StartUP Sprint is an immersive workshop series leading Penn inventors through essential elements of the Health-Tech entrepreneurial process culminating in an opportunity to present to industry leaders, clinical experts, and faculty for feedback and potential funding. The workshop series will run over the course of several months and include 6, 2-hour sessions lead by a subject matter expert. The first hour is a lecture that is open to Penn faculty, staff, and students, or CHOP employees.

Hour One offers an overview of risk classification and common regulatory pathways for medical devices – 510K, PMA, and De Novo.
Hour Two Teams have an opportunity to ask questions on regulatory strategy and update their project plan.
