Prateek Sharma, MD-PhD Candidate

Prateek Sharma is a Student Fellow for Penn Health-Tech and an MD-PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He previously served as a member of the Penn Health-Tech Student Advisory Board. He holds a degree from the University of Michigan (BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology). 

As a PHT Fellow, he serves as a liaison between funded teams and PHT leadership to ensure project milestones are met and teams have access to resources to propel their projects. As an MD-PhD student in the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program, he is interested in research at the intersection of cancer and metabolism. His career interests include translation of basic research to increase clinical application and utility.
